Commercial Debt
AMI began its operations as a buyer of commercial debt. Since beginning operations in 1989, AMI has purchased over $2,500,000,000 of commercial debt. AMI has purchased everything from commercial mortgages, commercial mortgage deficiency balances, bankruptcy claims to re-performing equipment leases. AMI acquires commercial debt primarily through a Limited Partnership known as Brae Asset Fund.
